We at Cal State Tennis have been, due to the Governator's budget cuts on education, particluarly in the CSU system, have been dropped. Our Division 1 program has been cut, and we will be finishing out the year in 2010 and soon be discontinued.

We do, however, have the option to raise the money to operate on our own. We need to raise $300,000 to support our program or our kids will lose their scholarships and our coach will lose his job.

As the only 4-year university in town, growing up our kids look up to the athletes competing at our Division 1 athletics program, and families can appreciate the great experience of being on and around the team. Cal State is a vital part of our tennis community, but it will take a community effort to save it.
